WILSON MEIRELES
The drummer Wilson Meireles, graduated from the Villa Lobos Music School – RJ, is considered one of the precursors of the instrumental music in Brazil.

Meireles performed with great names of the Brazilian popular music, among them:

Gilberto Gil, Alceu Valença, Hermeto Pascoal, Paulo Moura, Lenny Andrade, Elza Soares, Tim Maia and many others.
 

His unique style has influenced several generations of musicians, not only in Brazil, but also throughout the world through numerous recordings in which he participated, with these great Brazilian musicians.
